Cooking Science
Cooking is a great way to teach children about science. Science can be challenging to understand because it involves observing, experiencing, and experimenting. By exploring the ingredients in their favorite foods, children can learn through hands-on examples and gain a better appreciation of how and why things happen.
General Art ($5 materials fee)
Throughout the course, children will delve into a diverse array of artistic styles and media via a series of engaging projects. They will acquire a variety of skills and techniques as they experiment with different mediums. Finally, their masterpieces will be showcased at the end-of-semester program.
Physical Education
Students will learn to work together as a group while completing basic fitness activities and playing group sports and games. For both boys and girls.
Music (Recorder) ($6 recorder fee- new students only)
Using a student recorder, Calebs learn to read, make music, and to follow piano accompaniment. A variety of traditional, original, and church music is used to give students familiarity with several musical styles. Students will perform selections from their repertoire at the end-of-semester program).
